Fire-Lite is pleased to announce the availability of version 2.2 of the PK-CD that provides upload/download utilities for all of the Fire-Lite addressable panels including MS-9050UD. This release includes PK-PLUS version 3.1 and PPU wizard V3.1. However, since the actual 2.2 version of PK-CD will not be available through distribution for a week or so, customers needing an immediate copy for the MS-9050UD can download one from www.firelite.com/pktools. Please follow the directions below for unzipping the files. As these files are quite large, a high speed Internet connection should be used.

MS-9050UD Released from Product Hold

This bulletin is to advise you that FireLite has released the MS-9050UD product from product hold and production has resumed. This product was placed on hold due to a small number of customer returns reporting a memory error. To provide for immediate replacement, customers were advised that any product exhibiting this error could be returned to their distributor and exchanged for an MS-9200UDLS at the same price.

Out of several thousand MS-9050UD panels shipped since June of 2006, Fire●Lite has received a small number of returns related to a non-latching trouble message called “INTERNAL RAM ERROR”. If customers receive this trouble condition, they are advised to return the product to their distributor for replacement. We are working to resolve the issue but in the meantime, customers may return the affected MS-9050UD and replace it with an MS-9200UDLS.
